Scanning Documents With Mobile Devices

Scanning with Genius Scan

1. Download the Genius Scan App
2. Place the Document in a well lit environment.
3. Open the app.
4. Select the "+" icon.
5. Then hold your device over the document and scan the document.
6. When finished select "Done"
7. Edit the document If needed and select the share icon to send the scan to the destination of your choosing.

Scanning with iPhone

1. Place the Document in a well lit environment.
2. Open Notes and select a note or create a new one.
3. Tap the Camera button , then tap Scan Documents .
4. Place your document in view of the camera.
5. If your device is in Auto mode, your document will automatically scan. If you need to manually capture a scan, tap the Shutter button or press one of the Volume buttons. Then drag the corners to adjust the scan to fit the page, then tap Keep Scan.
6. Tap Save or add additional scans to the document.

Signing With iPhone

1. Open Notes, then tap the document in the note.
2. Tap the Share button , then tap Markup .
3. Tap the Add button , then tap Signature and add a saved signature or create a new signature. Then you can adjust the size of the signature box and place it wherever you want on the document.
4. Tap Done.

Scanning With Android

1. Place the Document in a well lit environment.
2. Open the Camera App.
3. Hover the phone above the document. This will show a scan option and outline the document.
4. If prompted, adjust the corners of the scan to match the corners of the physical document.
