The LPSD whitelisting system is completely dependent on the tech team's ability to identify your device. There are two things that the tech team requires to get whitelisting working on personal IOS devices.
The first is to make sure that the connection to LPSD-Wifi has the Private Mac Address setting turned off. That will allow the network to see what the device is connected. Here is a guide on how to find this setting here.
After fixing the Private Mac Address setting. The next step is identifying your device to the tech team so that they can make sure they provide the correct access to the correct device. All of that information can be found in this guide about Identifying your IOS device. If your device is named something generic such as "iPhone" or "iPhone 12 pro" access cannot be guaranteed to that device. You can change the device name by taping on Settings > General > About > Name and renaming your device.
